Friday, April 5, 2013 - Golden wheat straw. Has a rich texture that borders on viscous, flaunting floral, mineral notes of apples, pears, stonefruit, and a whiff of citrus. The flavors feel almost creamy but are tempered by a swathe of slaty, limestone minerality on the long finish. Adequate acidity keeps it from garnering a higher grade. Excellent nonetheless.
