Friday, January 12, 2024 - Immediately after opening this wine, it showed beautiful fragrances of blackberries, violets, and Asian spices. With aeration more ripe fruit aromas were dominant including plums and prunes. It was nicely balanced despite the high alcohol content (15.5%). This is lovely at this point in its evolution but it also has the structure and fruit to last for another decade or more.
