Monday, March 12, 2012 - Im a new world wine drinker but tend to stick to cabernets that are not over the top. I decided to spin the dice and picked up this bottle of 08 Clio. This is a great wine. AS soon as I opened this it smelled great. Poured into a decanter and let sit for two hours. So much fruit but not sickening sweet like some other new world bombs that I have had. This wine has initial upfront fruit then transitions into a nice mellow finish with no sign of alcohol or a fake taste. Overall really happy that I found a fruit bomb wine that I can enjoy when I feel like one. Cheers
