Friday, January 26, 2024 - Blind. Serious, serious wine. Some greengage and caramel hints to the nose. Good poise and fabulous acidity. Feels of Grand Cru quality. With air some subtle mintiness and some subtle citrus lift. After half an hour there's some Morello cherry and raspberry fruit. A real mineral backbone too. Just goes on and on with the final few sips revealing a charming gaminess that reminds me of pheasant sausage.
