Sunday, October 16, 2022 - Expected this wine to show better. Opened about 30 minutes before serving, would probably increase to at least 1 hour when I open our one remaining bottle. At its onset, the wine was jammy with blackberries and the alcohol was unbalanced, contributing heat from mid-finish onward. The heat diminished the longer the wine was in the glass. Smooth with a very even finish, but I expected more complexity and refinement.
