Wednesday, March 25, 2020 - Last bottle of this wine and vintage, but probably the best we've had! Dark garnet, very slight brown at the edges. Fully mature. Deep, dark, earthy aromas, burnt wood, roasted meat. Full body, very round and smooth, blackberry flavors with French oak. No significant tannin. Soft long aftertaste, slightly hot on the finish. This is at its peak, no need to age it further, but it should hold for several more years.
We liked it better than a 2010 Bionic Frog we drank the next evening.
