Tuesday, January 16, 2007 - SFWS tasting of 1996 Vintgae Wines;
Very deep colour with huge extract. Nose very typical of Australia, picked out as one of the "ringers" in a line up of 1996 clarets. Huge fruit , bordeaux style without the style ! Still very tannic & needing more time.
