Saturday, February 18, 2023 - Capsule and cork on this one were pristine (in fact, not experiencing a major battle in removing a classic “sticky cork” on an older Riesling surprised me), this bottle was certainly sound but lacked the excitement of previous bottles. Somewhat softer acidity definitely took the desired “edge” off the other key elements. Pleasant but not up to (admittedly high) expectations.
