Saturday, April 20, 2024 - Decanted this wine for two hours. This wine was showing its age via the color upon opening. It did gain some color over the next two hours. It was earthy and had some tobacco notes, but the fruit is turning lite and lean. I’ve had this wine from the beginning so I know it has been centered well. It is on the downward slide. Still, I enjoyed that old St Emilion taste.
