Saturday, December 22, 2018 - Holiday Champagne Gala (Park Ridge Country Club): Small glass, brief note. Ripe black cherry with good weight, very good balance. Moderate complexity that barely showed "Grand Cru oomph." Less "Gevrey" to me than Gelin 2002 Beze in the next glass, but this 90Girardin is a more fun glass of Pinot Noir.
