Friday, July 12, 2019 - Brought with us to Jon and Carolyn's to share over dinner with them and the Paffs. A very nice, mature Bolgheri Bordeaux blend. Lots of ripe, sweet, cherry, plum and boysenberry fruit, matched beautifully to a moderate acidity. Became more complex as the evening progressed, eventually showing subtle notes of leather, earth and mineral on the long, polished finish. Very smooth and silky on the palate.
