Thursday, January 3, 2013 - WOTN! Truffles in the nose, very dense and concentrated, but not over the top. For me, Sperss is almost always Gajas best wine. I do not know whether if that´s the making or simply the superior microclimate at Serralunga. Also it is more resonable priced than the famous three single-vineyard wines from Barbaresco. I never had a bad example and this 1990 is just so wonderful, long and great. This is what wine is all about.
