Sunday, December 4, 2016 - I remember selling this wine on release and it has always been a beauty. It is still extremely fresh but is gaining some earthy complexity with age. The fruits are red, deep and bright. There are notes of licorice, tar, cedar and baked earth. It is polished and glossy in the mouth with outstanding depth and a finish carried by sugar coated sinewy tannins.
