Saturday, September 28, 2019 - Took a complete flyer on this 15 years ago. A relatively new winery telling me this Norton would age a long time. I liked the wine but was skeptical about aging ability. I opened this tonight but had a back-up wine in case this was way over the hill. It was drinking well, though, and could age still further. More acidity than tannin but still good fruit. Paired well with grilled steak. Definitely more of a food wine. I'm not sure how much I would enjoy drinking this on its own. I am less concerned now about the 2005's still in my cellar.
