Wednesday, September 25, 2019 - Looks a little older than the standard 2000 which some reddening at the rim.
Nose is very spicy and floral with cloves and cinnamon.
Still plenty of tannin here, nice grip to it, dark cherry, savoury and meaty with dark chocolate - you know the stuff with incredibly high cocoa content that you only need a little of - with liquorice.
Long finish, very young, needs years but lots to enjoy now.
