Wednesday, January 25, 2023 - This was excellent.
Light to medium garnet.
Typical aged nose, with aromas of stewed fruits, dried nuts, leather, vanilla.
Light to medium body, soft and elegant, savoury, with intense flavours of stewed fruits, ripe red berries, vanilla.
Very long after taste. Great complexity, balance and energy for an aged rioja.
I still remember a bottle of 1988 I drink few years ago which was so perfect aged rioja. This one is as good with less age. Ridiculous QPR.
