Thursday, March 14, 2013 - Drunk twice over the last 18 months. Dark red with viscosity. In the nose, a lot of vanilla, some oak, lots of chocolate and cherry - Black Forest Cake. With more air, this gets lighter in its aromatic profile with lots of red currant. On the palate, the tannins are rather smooth, the acidity is present, but well integrated. It's long, transparent and fine. Simply excellent.
