Wednesday, June 28, 2017 - Served in Riedel Vinum Burgundy glasses in which it showed more complexity and authority than in the Zalto Universal: The nose had an organic side (caramel, wet dog) and beautiful depth of aged complexity and earth. In the mouth there is a kind of savoury sweetness and a quite full-bodied complexity ending in marked acidity. Fine aftertaste. Approaching greatness when seen from the right angle.
Still good on the second day.
