Tuesday, December 31, 2019 - Medium garnet in color. It is light violet around the edge. Red fruited nose with wet leather, raw cedar and faisandage. The nose is wilder than I recall. It is gaining complexity as time goes by. On the palate it is dry with high acidity and mild medium tannins, well integrated into the juice. The finish is dry and of mid length.

At nineteen years old, it's hard to call it advanced but maturity has definitely arrived. Is there room for development? I'd say a handful of years, and then the decline will commence. Start drinking now.
