Sunday, June 16, 2019 - {screwcap, 13%} Deep golden hollow colour, but still bright and clear. Rich nose of lanolin and white flesh fruit. Vanilla bean too. But not oak-derived. The palate is medium/full-bodied, with low-medium acidity, and an aged patina to the yellowing flavours. A bit of a hole in the mid-palate I think, but then this wine was all of $10 on release 15 years ago, so you really couldn’t complain as far as value goes. Will hold, but not to any benefit.
