Sunday, March 17, 2019 - Bottle #7, and my final bottle of this vintage of Breuil, too. Figured 10 years was a good mark to celebrate opening it. I pulled the cork on this about an hour ago, and then put some chill on the wine for this note. This is solid, showing no signs of fading, neither in the color nor flavor. I still find it stupid I paid $22 for this, as these wines were such a great bargain when I bought them back in 2011. Aromatic of honeysuckle, with a beautiful core of nectarine, green apple, and lime, finishing super clean and refreshing. This is tasting so clean, fresh and lively, it makes me shrug my shoulders that I just don't have one more. The good thing is that I get to enjoy this bottle tomorrow too. Awesome Breuil.
