Mixed emotions, especially in light of almost 95 point community rating. Concur with earlier note about "funk" at first. This seems to be what the experts call "complexity" and nose. Not unpleasant, but not positive descriptors either. Thought the "complexity" dominated the fruit over the course of drinking. Definitely blew off over time, but never had the "wow" moment I associate with 95+ point wines. Certainly good, but not that level. Purchased upon release and stored perfectly.
