Friday, May 13, 2022 - Made in a more “modern Robert Parker” style: lots of extracted, juicy red fruits, wonderful complexity; and medium intensity. With that being said, the balance is waning, still some tannin, but acidity seems to be fading. Did not decant, but enjoyed with Chicken Enchiladas. My guess is the winemaker sacrificed fruit extract for acidity. Recommend drinking ASAP before the acidity completely disappears.
