Wednesday, June 14, 2006 - Yummy!! A very smooth, subtle wine, but fairly complex. Hints of olive and stone/minerals back nice fruit — currants and strawberries — with gruyere, smoke, and the tiniest amount of pepper. A tasty wine by itself, but strangely enough, with Eastern NC barbecue, it was simply divine.
