Saturday, December 19, 2020 - Opened an hour before pouring (did not decant). A bit tight at first at cellar temp but after 20 minutes in the glass and warming up a bit it opened up wonderfully. Nice, ripe dark cherry and blackberry fruit well balanced with leather and tobacco notes. Rich mouth feel, age-softened tannins, long savory finish. Drinking great right now, can’t imagine it getting much better.
