Monday, December 25, 2023 - Slow ox three hours. I have not always been a fan of Quilceda Creek but this bottle delivered the goods. Attractive nose of violets, licorice and tobacco. The wine is full bodied, with excellent intensity and balance at the same time. Ripe black raspberry fruit, mocha, licorice, tobacco and earth come through into a long satisfying finish.
