Upon opening and drinking, it was fine...like a South African Chenin Blanc. Crisp, a bit bitter on the tongue, but okay for a Saturday afternoon lunch. Fortunately, I have only one bottle. I wouldn't want to have a lot of this. The South African Chenin Blancs are much better.
