Thursday, May 14, 2015 - In the CA Zin tasting, the 2 blends took top honors, with this bottle placing 2nd. The nose had hints of grass and slight pepper, but also had a strong, robust fruit foundation. The flavor was even on the palate with very nice mid fruits and a good mellow finish. It was quite enjoyable, and is teaching me that Zin seems to do better when it is blended.
