Wednesday, June 20, 2012 - Deep plum color, aroma of chocolate and dark berries, extremely sweet tasting initially with very little tannin. Reserving judgment until it opens a little. Thirty minutes later the tannins arrived, but still less than I expect from a Zin. The sweet fruit had subsided some but I'll wait until tomorrow to come to a final conclusion.
