Thursday, January 31, 2013 - Color is black purple, Nose is asphalt black blue fruit and beef, palate is earthy asphalt black fruit, almost Boushey Vineyard (WA) like. Alcohol never notices and big tannic long finish make this my favorite of 5 CA syrah drank/tasted over two days.

Thank you to Linda at The Wine Closet in Camarillo for the introdcution to Central Coast AVA's and their Syrahs.

2/1/2013 7:24:00 AM - Hey Chris, where can I pick up a bottle of this? Nothing shows up in the "Where to buy" tab. My sister still lives in CA, but pretty far north (Mendocino). Is this a small production, or should it be fairly easy to find in CA?

2/1/2013 8:28:00 AM - Not sure where else it might be sold Scott, yes it is small production I think. Winemaker has some connection to Turley, but this is side project. I'd check with the winery or just order direct from The Wine Closet. I'm fairly certain they ship anywhere within CA out of the shop in Camarillo.

This Syrah had 110 cases in 2010, so yes tiny production.
