Monday, October 10, 2016 - In a word, delicious. Scents of strawberry preserves, damp earth, and cinnamon. Big bodied, full of medium-ripe, tangy red fruit. I tend to prefer a lighter-bodied, more nimble and nuanced pinot, but I enjoyed the power in this wine, and it's not too rich in glycerin. Good minerality. Very fine tannins. I wonder where this is headed.
