Tuesday, July 18, 2017 - This is coming along nicely! Dark cherry, raspberry, rhubarb fruits, silky smooth with a good balance of sweetness to dryness, yet still structured with some firm geology. Nose is more open since my last bottle...exotic Vosne spice like, dusty cherry wood, kirsch liqueur, coffee, cola...smooth and expressive on the palate...powerful, yet with polish...deep flavors of spice, wood smoke, potpourri florals, little tar, stem funk. Big flavors with a pleasing polished feel...last time reminded me of Chambolle in feel, MsD in dark fruit...now more like a Danial Rion Vosne Les Beaux Monts! Super wine!
