Monday, February 18, 2019 - Dinner at Jade Court (Chicago, IL): I don't think this has aged particularly well. There seems to be a bit of an astringency on the nose here, with something that seems a little stemmy. The initial attack on the palate is fairly nice, with some black fruit, but what follows is that the overall fruit sensation here seems to have dried out, leaving a bit of a tannic husk. Drink up.
