Saturday, April 20, 2019 - Still congested and can't smell much. Stood up for a week and then decanted off of fine sediment. Now almost 5h later. Nice balance of ripe blackberry and black cherry fruits, minerals, herbs, bark and a hint of sous bois. Some slight heat on the finish is the only nitpick. Much richer fruit earlier in the night and has gotten leaner as the night has progressed. Nicely showing some secondary flavors. This seems to be evolving nicely and open the next bottle in 3-5 years.
