Sunday, April 21, 2019 - With apple/bourbon pork tenderloin, Orzo with carrot/onion/celery.
Decanted 30 minutes before dinner - very find sediment showing.
Beautiful medium ruby.
Nose of blackberry, black raspberry, bright/sour cherry, almost perfumed, lovely. As it opened up, hint of earth snuck up.
Dry, smooth, integrated tannin, great length, nice acid balance, a rich but subtle wine. Excellent.
