Sunday, March 3, 2024 - A private dinner (Café Parlotte, Amsterdam, NL): From vineyards in Merfy and Saint-Thierry, base vintage 2021, all three classic varieties in undisclosed proportions, fermented and aged in barrel, bottled July 2022, disgorged October 2023 with a dosage of 2.5 gr/l. Ripe and vinous but with a firm core of acidity, mildly earthy, red apple, generous and rounded, spicy, good body, not hugely elegant but certainly satisfying.
