Lovely little thing, though. Creamy yeasty apples is what I get up front? Bubbles are not delicate or shy; they evacuate the Champagne rather quickly. Despite much effort it was impossible to pour without generating a foamy beer-like head in the flute. This is not a delicate wine -- it's blunt, brutish, and all over the place. Less a crisp and decisive Champagne, and more of a mouth-coating brooding affair. I found it quite pleasant, and satisfying at the price point.
