Monday, July 29, 2013 - Dinner at l'Artusi 7/29/2013 (l'Artusi, NYC): Deep straw. Deeply mineral on the nose, but a bit reticent and tight. A wonderfully intriguing note of oxidation hovers above the minerals. The palate is magnificent, but tightly wound. Hugely rich, creamy, and mouthcoating. Fantastic acidity melds seamlessly with the wine's pinpoint mousse. Very, very long. Fabulous.
