Buyer beware I guess. This has a 90 point rating from Pierre Rovani (Wine Advocate), but the rating was for (509 / degorgement 06/2005).
I found this wine to be ok. Still struggling with the Advocate rating system that I am tring to adopt, as the wine was probably just average, so based on that scale, should have been probably 76... Disjointed acidity/sweetness. Lemon sherbet flovors with some tart apple characters that were attractive, but very simple. No minerality at all and basically just a simple wine. Bought at Wine Library for $26 (plus tax) and that is all it is worth - at best (if it were anything but Champagne, it would be much less). Very sweet.
