Friday, November 29, 2019 - First Champagne from this producer but definitely not the last.
This had everything you could expect in an entry level Champagne and more.
Beautiful fine foam and tiny persistent bubbles. good yeast autolysis character without being overwhelming but sufficient to give this wine great mouthfeel.
Both the Chardonnay and the Pinot character come through with refreshing citrus fruit as well as red fruit. Great liveliness; excellent with food pairings or on its own. Over-delivered...
