Sunday, July 5, 2020 - Disgorged 29 January 2019. 4-5 g/l dosage, 60% 2016 base wine.
Very pale straw color with incredibly lively mousse. Nose gives off green apple, stone fruits, and a little brioche or buttery caramel. First sip shows a lot of acid up front on the tongue, with a mellowing on the sides where is picks up some weight. Some of the same green apple, but a bit bruised, lemon curd, classic flavors. Dosage works quite well for me.
The acid integrates more 30 minutes in, creating g a well balanced quality NV champagne. Will buy more if I can find it at $31.50 again.
