Wednesday, January 13, 2021 - Immediately upon opening I was surprised at how developed the wine smelled... all tobacco, oak, chocolate ... much of the fruit gone and it was more secondary characteristics that gave it some interest. The colour was also very dark and brooding. It drank well with a steak but would suggest it's definitely a food wine. Not going to get any better I'd guess.
