Sunday, November 6, 2022 - 3+ hours in the decanter, nicely evolved, served with ribeye. Leather, tobacco, packs a punch, biggest wine of the evening. Still some nice tannins left so it wouldn't surprise me if this continues to improve. My dinner companions refused to believe this was a New World Merlot, they insisted it must be a Bordeaux (we drank immediately following an '05 Leoville Poyferré, which was also incredible). Glad I served this one last, it packed a punch.
