Thursday, November 8, 2012 - This wine is savoury and fruit driven (dark cherry, stewed plums, a little pepper), but I was expecting a bit more backbone. It's flavour profile is similar to Shiraz in that it is all middle palate and I just felt it lacked some length on the finish. Still it is still very primary, and would happily stay in the cellar for another three or four years.
