Tuesday, February 14, 2012 - Decanted over an hour. Nose of strawberry and mint. Initial strawberry and alcohol bite dissipates within seconds on the palate, and refreshing red fruits, spearmint and spice keep dancing throughout the finish. Not an over-the-top pinot, but not necessarily elegant, either. Rather, it's flirtacious and inviting - quite an easy drinker - not something so complex as to warrant extensive pontification. The mouthfeel had a medium weight with an almost-carbonated feel. At $19, it's a few bucks higher than what I'd expect to pay - but if it was $14-15, I'd stock up for sure.
