Wednesday, September 13, 2017 - Good cork. Quite youthful appearance - medium/deep ruby, pale ruby rim. Dark-fruited nose, some vanilla, spice, touch of herb. Becoming more fragrant with time in glass. Medium bodied, more red toned fruit on the palate, slightly firm tannins, fresh acidity and feel to the wine, touch of pencil lead on the medium/good length finish. Very good - but I would drink this over the next year or two as it may start to dry out.
