Sunday, October 9, 2011 - First taste of a carmenere/Syrah blend -- young with aroma of blackberry, coffee, and pencil lead... On the palate retains the fruit and adds a pleasant butterscotchy bit of burnt sugar. Modest acid and overall well-balanced, finish is not particularly long, a fun pop-n-pour.
