Thursday, February 25, 2016 - String nose of blackberry, plum and chocolate. Thick mouthfeel of concentrated bold cherry flavors, and spicier than usual. Still has a tannic edge, although this comes out in the finish rather than directly on the palate. Throws a fair amount of sediment at the end. Always a good choice when a powerful red is needed to overcome a sirloin or rump steak.
