Friday, April 12, 2024 - Drank over several nights but preserved with Argon in between tasting. Early on it its life this wine was tannic and oaky. At this point the pronounced oak is gone revealing red fruit, some well-integrated oak flavor and a very fine-grained tannic structure. Just enough acidity to freshen the red fruit. With airtime this became nicely darker fruited with good balance, a touch of cedar and a silky finish. Cellaring paid off for this. Very nice.
