Saturday, March 21, 2015 - WSET Level 4 Course - WSET School; 9/6/2014-5/23/2015 (WSET School, Bermondsey): Appearance: The wine is Clear with a Pale lemon colour.
Nose: The nose is Clean and Developing, showing Pronounced intensity primary aromas of ripe fresh crisp green apple, secondary aromas of bread, brioche and tertiary aromas of nutty.
Palate: The wine is Off-Dry in the mouth with a High level of acidity. It has a Medium Level of alcohol (12.00%). It has Medium(+) body and Pronounced intensity primary flavours of ripe fresh crisp green apple, secondary flavours of bread, brioche and tertiary flavours of nutty. The finish is Long. It has a creamy mousse - quite soft creamy texture. Clear evidence of both development and autolysis. Ripe fresh fruits..
Overall: Long and intense with good complexity provided by primary, secondary and tertiary characteristics.
Conclusion: It is a Very Good quality wine. Can Drink Now but has Potential for Ageing Has structural components to develop with further ageing (up to 10 years); Premium priced (£37.00)
